Riding high on the success of their "Change Agents" program at Knowledge Academies and Tennessee State University (TSU), Fathom, the Nashville-based startup, has struck another significant partnership. This time, they've teamed up with the Nashville Technology Council (NTC) and the Metro Action Commission (MAC) to deliver a transformative learning experience for middle and high school students at NTC's Power Youth STEAM Camp.

Word of mouth has spread throughout Nashville about Fathom's ambitious mission to prepare students and young adults for thriving careers in the 21st century. This summer, led by founder and CEO, JoAdel Adeola, and lead Change Agents facilitator and Oasis Youth Coordinator, Mychael Carney, Fathom is set to bring a series of Change Agents workshops to the STEAM camp. The sessions will focus on career readiness skills such as entrepreneurship, community engagement, problem-solving, and career alignment. Fathom's approach is a seamless fit for the STEAM Camp's objectives, and together, they aim to equip students with both technological skills and a broader understanding of the workforce landscape.

Founded in 2015, the NTC's Power Youth STEAM Camp offers middle and high school students a vivid insight into technology-driven careers through an interactive STEM curriculum and insightful visits to Middle Tennessee tech firms. An integral part of this initiative is MAC's enduring endeavor to break generational poverty by fostering family economic security, educational triumph, and overall well-being. Remarkably, all Power Youth STEAM Camp participants are elder siblings in Nashville's Head Start program, symbolizing the transformative potential of the camp. The provision of daily transportation, tech devices, and meals only solidifies their commitment to making this experience as enriching and hassle-free as possible.

Following their notable success with TSU, Knowledge Academies, and the subsequent buzz around Nashville, Fathom's collaboration with NTC and MAC was a fitting next step. With the collective strength of each organization, there's palpable excitement and optimism for the upcoming summer.
