Fathom Partners with New River/Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board to Pilot Workforce Wallet and Manager Dashboard

Fathom, a Techstars-backed workforce innovation startup, is excited to announce a new partnership with the New River/Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board (NRMRWDB) to pilot Fathom’s Workforce Wallet and Manager Dashboard. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in revolutionizing workforce management, particularly for underserved and disadvantaged populations in the US South.

The NRMRWDB has formally committed to participating in Phase I of Fathom’s pilot program, which will run over 2-3 months. This pilot will test the technical feasibility and usability of Fathom’s innovative talent management platform within American Job Centers. The Workforce Wallet allows participants to upload required documentation and connect socially with others in the program, while the Manager Dashboard enables workforce professionals to improve service delivery through more efficient communication and follow-up systems.

The NRMRWDB oversees workforce programs in the New River/Mount Rogers region, focusing on in-demand industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and skilled trades. Many of the individuals they serve face significant barriers to employment, including socioeconomic disadvantages, disabilities, and justice involvement.
