As the Fathom Family Grows, So Do the Opportunities

From the very beginning we, at Fathom have been led by a vision of young people becoming architects of their destinies and catalysts for social change. So to actually begin working alongside students is big news for Fathom. Bringing on the first intern is not only a turning point in Fathom’s expansion, but may it also serve as the prelude to Fathom delivering a more involved, immersive, and introspective internship experience to students everywhere 👨‍🎓.

One Giant Leap for Fathom-kind

Hailing all the way from sunny Southern California, standing blank feet tall and weighing in at just around blankety-blank pounds, in his last semester at Vanderbilt, DJ’ing from time to time on the weekends, and last but not least, Fathom’s very first intern… ladies & gentlemen, please put your hands together for Joey Puhaaaaalaaaaaaaaa!

The Michael Buffer style intro suits our friend well, as he has stepped into the ring and knocked out any challenge we have set before him. From participating in several internal and external company meetings to reaching out and collaborating with key student organizations on Vanderbilt’s campus, Joey has been invaluable towards helping Fathom get a better sense of what students are really looking for in both the internship and learning experience.

Fulfilling his weekly 32-hour internship requirements, Joey has been busy helping to lay the groundwork for one of our biggest projects yet, Fathom Your Campus. In fact, he’s already adding value to the team and connecting with students like Mubarak who plans to keep the spirit of Fathom alive even after Joey walks across that stage. Hear what they have to say about their time working with Fathom in the video below. Be sure to leave a like/subscribe to our channel 😄.
